*JOACHIM AGUZUO ATUNWA is a known name in the Marketing Communications Industry in Nigeria. He is a tested, multi-disciplinary Marketing Communications and brand-marketing strategist with keen eyes on what builds up both brand equity and bottom-line.  He has demonstrated competence in diverse areas of influence, including Strategic Planning, Research, Brand Management, Media, Marketing and Advertising. He is a sought-after speaker at local and international conferences and seminars and a faulty member of many professional bodies and training institutions.

Joachim has over 30 years post-graduation experience across a broad spectrum of industries where he has worked on both the agency and client sides, with over 20 years of this period spent in senior management positions.  He was formerly Strategic Planning Director at Insight Communication Limited; formerly Director of Marketing Communication at Globacom Nigeria Limited; formerly Rector/CEO of The Advertising Academy of Nigeria.  He is currently Business Director at Nitro 121 Limited.

Joachim Atunwa holds an Upper Class degree in Sociology from the University of Calabar, M.Sc in Sociology from the University of Lagos, Diploma in Management from the University of Lagos, MBA (Marketing) from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Graduate Member of the Institute of Chartered secretaries and Administrator of Nigeria, among other academic achievements.  He has trained both locally and abroad.  He is a Fellow of the National Institute of marketing of Nigeria, a Member of Nigerian Marketing Research Association, a Registered Practitioner in Advertising, among others.  He was recently awarded the Marketing Edge Outstanding Advertising Personality of the Decade.  He’s married with children and spends his leisure time writing and teaching choral music.
